Saving, sharing and posting

Do we need to have distinct verbs for these three?
- Save: save someone else's (or my own) work to some kind of collection, primarily for me to use later.
- Share: post someone else's (or my own) work for my friends/readers to see.
- Post: post my own work

Need to figure out how "save" relates to "mark as favorite".

Some alternate definitions I posted on the mailing list that people seemed to like:
- posted/published: Put online something I created for other people to consume.
- saved: Put something in a collection primarily for my own use.
- shared: Post a pointer to something someone else created for other people to consume.
